Take a look back at these weird vintage camera commercials from the 1980’s and 1990’s. Minolta, Canon, Olympus, and Nikon were producers of some wacky promos for there latest cameras of the time.
Pro tennis player Andre Agassi was the face and body of the Canon Rebel like for quite a few years. His stylish man-mullet made the ladies swoon and the men want to be him. So Canon hoped, with this hairy commercial run that seemed to sell a lot of Rebels.
Japan was behind some creepy voyeuristic TV ads for the Minolta X7 and Olympus OM-10 that ran during the early 1980’s around the world.
