The new Nikon D6 is expected to be announced at the 2019 CES show this January in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nikon usually announces its the top-line FX-format flagship DSLR camera at the Consumer Electronics Show event at the beginning of the year. This has been the case for the announcements of the Nikon D4, D4s and the latest Nikon D5.
The usually accurate website Nikon Rumors brings us this info:
“Without going into details since I don’t want anyone to get in trouble, a professional photographer recently made a public statement that the Nikon D6 will be available for testing in February. I have already been reporting that the Nikon D6 is rumored for 2019. We will probably get the development announcement in January during the 2019 CES show (January 8-11) and the full details a few months later. Stay tuned!”
Let’s hope the Nikon D6 info it true, as my wife has been waiting to replace her D5 for a while now.
