Using an Adapter Cable
If you already have a MoveLink system with a standard receiver, you can connect it to your USB-C smartphone using an adapter cable:
Godox GAC-IC9 Adapter Cable: This cable features a 3.5mm TRS male connector on one end and a USB Type-C male connector on the other, allowing compatibility with Android smartphones.
Steps to Connect:
Connect the Receiver: Plug the standard MoveLink receiver into the 3.5mm TRS end of the GAC-IC9 adapter cable.
Attach to Smartphone: Insert the USB-C end of the adapter into your smartphone’s USB-C port.
Verify Connection: Ensure your smartphone recognizes the external microphone. This may be indicated by an icon or notification.
Begin Recording: Use your desired app to record audio, which will now be captured through the MoveLink system.
